Hope everyone is doing well.
I am here today to post some pictures
of a swap I did on
Creating the Crafty Life.
The theme was:
Heart Shaped Embellishment Swap.
It was a one on one swap.
My partner Misty, likes Shabby, Vintage.
We were to make 6 sets of embellishments,
they were to have a heart on them.
We were to package them individually
and
include a card with our swap info on it.
So I decided to use digital papers for this swap.
I used two digital papers, one from
Whimsy Dust (she no longer has
an Etsy shop :(
and another from
Design Lover Studio called:
Watercolor PINK and GOLD design, spring watercolor flower,
Pink blush Floral (see link below)
I used many of my dies from my collections
to make the presentation and the packaging.
I cut the hearts from my EK success punch
called Heart in Heart.
I used the digital paper to decorate the hearts
I added Heart laces, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers
and greenery to each embellished heart.
I used trims, pearls, and rhinestone stickers to create
some of the embellishments.
I also added tule, diamond dust and beaded trims.
I set them each on a beautiful wedding lace
I picked up from Hobby Lobby.
I hope she enjoys what I created for her.
This was a difficult project for me as I am
used to creating "Big" and we had decided
to make the embellishments around 2 inches...Yikes!
I also included some goodies for her from my die collections,
using the same digital papers the embellishments were made from.
