Thanks for stopping by! It is a snowy Saturday here in Colorado! Down in the craft room creating with my hot cup of coffee. I am coming to you today with a design I completed for a swap I joined at myscraproom.ning.com that was hosted by Christy.
We were to make an altered letter
this is a 1 on 1 swap
bling OR pearls
lace OR trim
at least 1 metal piece
at least 1 word
I decided to also put the altered letter on a canvas (as I am a rebel child!)
I used a 9x12 canvas from Michaels which I white washed with Golden Artist Gesso
I used the Martha Stewart Damask silkscreens (33243) with the
Liquitex modeling paste
The two dies I used were; Heartfelt Creations Regal Borders and Pockets (HCDI-779)
& Bo Bunny Elegant Border Die (12839810)
The Letter P is from Michaels as well as the
Adore script and heart are Recollections from Michaels
Paper is Recollections Signature Especial
Pearls are Paper Studio Gemstones round 4mm strips
Rhinestone sticker on the heart is Recollections
Rhinestone center is from Bead Gallery Faux pearl metal slider
Swaroviski crystals are from Hobby Lobby
I cascaded the Wedding trim from Joann's down from her hat for an elegant look
I added a feather on the top of her hat as well
I used Twinklets, diamond dust on the word
and heart scripts and on the flowers. Flowers are from I am roses
The beautiful lady is from Pinterest

She made a stunning altered frame which I was so inspired by (thanks Rina!)
I printed the beautiful lady on photo paper and fussy cut her out
I popped her up on foam strips I cut from the foam pack from Michaels
I used my Art Glitter glue and hot glue gun to glue everything down.
I hope Penny enjoys her swap, I had so much fun creating it for her
& I hope it makes the trip to her in London!!
